Developing Skills
The Next Step Trust is proud to support people with learning disabilities in developing their confidence to be able to support themselves in various areas of their lives. Employment forms an extremely important part of most of our lives. At the Trust we offer Work Placement opportunities to people with learning disabilities. Please do contact us if you are interested in working with us or would like us to support you in developing your skills to get a job.
We also support individuals in work placements elsewhere. For example, we have run a pilot scheme with Eureka! The National Children’s Museum, to support Next Steppers on work placements at various venues in Eureka!

We also work with Ravenscliffe High School to support Next Steppers at Work Placements there and students from RHS are offered placements at Next Step as well.
