Saying goodbye to our dear friend, Paul Gledhill
Today our thoughts are with the family and friends of our colleague and friend Paul Gledhill. Paul worked with us at the Next Step Trust for over 6 years and was a valued colleague and a friend to Next Steppers, their families and of course the staff team.
Below is a reading by Helen Lowrie Marshall that was chosen for the service,
Afterglow
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways.
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
