As a charity, we have a responsibility to fundraise to fulfil the objectives laid out in our constitution.
We are fortunate to be supported by our local community and businesses. We also have been the chosen charity for other organisations who have fundraised to fulfil some of our requirements:
For example, John Lewis in York and Cold Harbour in Leicestershire both chose us to be their charity of 2016 and did a fabulous job of raising valuable funds for us. As did Wilkinson Woodward Solicitors who held a quiz night and hosted a Christmas market stall in Brighouse in 2016.
As a voluntary organisation we depend on fundraising to ensure we can facilitate quality activities and therapies for the well-being of the Next Steppers.
The Next Steppers and staff fundraise on a regular basis for activities and equipment. We have taken on the challenge of the Three Peaks on several occasions and The Next Steppers have run a stall at the Sowerby Bridge Market over the summer.
