As Next Step Trust celebrates 20 years of service, we wanted to mark this incredible milestone in a way that truly reflects the heart of everything we do — the amazing individuals we support. Because without them, there would be no Next Step Trust. So, we decided to dream big.

Over the past six months, we’ve been working behind the scenes — speaking with our Next Steppers, their parents, carers and staff — to discover each person’s biggest dream and create a plan to make it a reality. The excitement has been building, and we’re thrilled to say we have some truly unforgettable experiences lined up… with even more still to come!

We’ve already booked an incredible trip to London, where three Next Steppers will each be heading off in different directions to live out their dreams. One will be enjoying a three-course fine dining experience at Gordon Ramsay’s Savoy Grill. Another, a huge Star Wars fan, will be visiting Madame Tussauds to explore the exhibition. And one young lady will be heading to the West End to see The Lion King at the theatre.

The excitement doesn’t stop there. Three young men will be experiencing the thrill of Formula 1 at Silverstone, while another three adventure-seekers are off to Alton Towers and CBeebies Land for a day packed with fun and adrenaline. And we’re only just getting started… From WWE events to spa days, seaside trips to theatre visits, there are so many more dreams in the making.

What an absolute privilege it is to be part of such a special journey — creating memories, celebrating individuality, and making dreams come true. Here’s to 20 years of Next Step Trust, and to the many more dreams still to be realised.
