What we offer
Continuing to meet individual needs is at the heart of our work as a Charity and Voluntary Organisation in Calderdale.
We provide day services, personalised care, community activities, holidays and a home-from-home respite provision, ensuring care and enrichment go hand in hand.
Our commitment is to empower every Next Stepper to thrive in a supportive and enabling environment and create opportunities to engage with and enjoy the wider world.
Day Services
Offering a mix of in-house and community based activities tailored to support individual needs, personal care, and medication requirements, while creating opportunities for individuals to have fun and live their best life.
Respite
Operating 24 hours a day, including weekends, our Respite bungalow provides a welcoming and supportive environment that complements the high-quality care delivered through our community-based day services.
Holidays
New experiences away from home to help individuals build confidence and independence, have fun and enjoy new opportunities, whilst also offering parents and carers a reassuring and well-deserved break.

Fully Equipped
All of our centres are fully accessible and thoughtfully equipped to support the needs of everyone who attends.
Sensory Spaces
Our centres feature a range of in-house sensory equipment that enables therapeutic activities and supports wellbeing, including a fully equipped sensory room and ball pool.
Hydrotherapy Pool
Essential multi-sensory stimulation and gentle exercise to support improved movement, spatial awareness, independence, and overall health benefits. An uplifting experience where individuals can have fun, move easily and confidently, and feel free of their disability.
Adapted Technology
We are committed to adapting all activities so that everyone can take part. Using inclusive approaches and assistive tools, individuals are able to actively participate, make choices and contribute in ways that are meaningful to them.
5 Star Catering
Delivering high-quality, nutritious meals in a safe and well-managed environment, while also offering opportunities for our Next Steppers to take part in baking and cooking activities.
Transport Fleet
Our transport fleet provides safe and reliable access to facilities within the local community and surrounding areas, enabling individuals to take part in meaningful activities and opportunities beyond our centres.
Evergreen Garden
Offering a calm, accessible outdoor space designed to support relaxation, reflection, and sensory engagement, including a fully accessible wheelchair swing to enable everyone to take part, have fun, and enjoy the outdoors.
Rebound Facility
A safe and supportive environment where individuals can engage in structured rebound therapy to promote physical development, coordination, and overall wellbeing, while also giving them the opportunity to release energy and enjoy themselves.
