We wish to extend a sincere heartfelt thank you to all the family and friends of Graham Pearson, our former CEO and Trustee, for their support through very generous donations in memory of Graham. 

Graham’s memorial service was held at St John’s Church, Warley on 23rd March 2019. The large number of people in attendance illustrated just how much Graham meant to so many people, and the various eulogies celebrating Graham’s varied life were a true inspiration: Graham reached so many people on so many levels through his faith, passion, enthusiasm, expertise and friendship.

Graham’s family values and belief in community are reflected in the Next Step Trust’s ethos of one big family with a true community spirit. And even though Graham is no longer with us, he continues to remain a large part of that family which he was so instrumental in nurturing.

Graham spoke so fondly of the Next Step Trust and just a week or two before he died, he reminisced with one of our trustees that his time with us had without doubt been the most rewarding of his entire working career. We aim to honour Graham’s commitment to The Trust and we will strive to continue to make him proud.

Our thoughts are with Claire, Arwen, Katie and Sally.

Donations in memory of Graham were £445 from the memorial service, and £885 through Local Giving. The total amount was £1330.
